EUGENE, Ore.–Oregon Men’s basketball will open up their Pac-12 schedule against Oregon State in a Civil War showdown on Saturday. Oregon is 10-3 after finishing out their non-conference slate. The Ducks have been able to find success from their freshman so far this season, including during a few key overtime wins. On the Beaver side of the ball, head coach Wayne Tinkle has lead Oregon State to a 9-3 record, one of their best starts in program history, and has built up a solid defense with Gary Payton II coming in at fifth in the nation for steals. Before tip off tomorrow, Dana Altman, Joseph Young and Ahmaad Rorie all said they are going to pull from the Ducks’ fast-paced Rose Bowl win to kick off their season.
